Polyether polyols are high molecular weight compounds with ether bonds (—R—O—R—) in the main chain and oligomers with multiple hydroxyl groups (—OH) in the end or side groups. They are produced by ring-opening polymerization of low molecular weight polyols, polyamines or compounds containing active hydrogen as initiators with olefin oxides under the action of catalysts. Olefin oxides mainly include propylene oxide and ethylene oxide, of which propylene oxide is the most commonly used. Appearance: colorless/light yellow/brown liquid.
